Typing certificate
Tick what they can do, write in their speed and accuracy, sign it and hand it over. Three milestones on one certificate, so it suits a five-year-old who has found every letter as well as a twelve-year-old touch typing at 30 words per minute.
Prints on Letter or A4. Print as many as you need, for home or class.
How to use it
- Get the two numbers from the free typing test: sixty seconds, words per minute and accuracy.
- Tick only what is true today. A certificate that waits for the real milestone means more than one handed out early.
- It prints sideways. Most browsers set that from the page; if yours does not, choose Landscape in the print dialog.
- Typing Dojo (Family plan) awards a certificate for each belt it teaches; this sheet covers the milestones around it.
With the games
The milestones on it each have a game. Finding every letter: Key Finder (3–6, free). The home row: Home Row Hop (5–8, free). Speed and accuracy: Turbo Type (8–12, free) and the typing test, which any age can take.
