Why parents trust TotType
Safe by design
Goes fullscreen and locks the keyboard so a curious key-masher can't exit or open other apps. Parent-only exit — hold Esc for 3 seconds.

No ads, no kid tracking
We store a parent email and subscription state only — never your child's name, photo, or birthday. No ads, no in-game tracking. Ever.
Built for pre-readers

Common questions
What does my child actually learn?
Counting (1–10) and first words on the free tier. Letter recognition, phonics, sight-word typing, and basic keyboard fluency on Family. Music ear-training, visual memory, and vocabulary + reading comprehension on Family Plus. Every game is voice-narrated so pre-readers can play independently.
What ages are these for?
The free learning games suit ages 1–4, plus two free multiplayer races for ages 2–8. Family extends to age 6, and Family Plus to age 8. Each tile on /games is age-tagged so you can pick the right starting point for your child.
Is it safe to hand to my child?
Yes. The page goes fullscreen and locks the keyboard so a curious key-masher can’t exit or open other apps (Chrome / Edge). Hold Esc 3 seconds (desktop) or three fingers 3 seconds (mobile) to exit.
Do you collect data on my child?
No. The free games store nothing. The paid tier stores progress (time played, accuracy, milestones) under your parent account — never under a child profile with personally identifiable information.
Why a subscription?
One-time apps go stale. A subscription funds a steady cadence of new games, themes, and lessons — about one of each per month. If we slow down, you cancel.
Will the free games stay free?
Forever. They’re how parents find us. We won’t add ads, time limits, or paywalls to them.
