Slide 15 is the fifteen puzzle: fifteen numbered tiles and one gap in a 4×4 frame, and the job is to slide them back into order. Tap a tile next to the gap to slide it — or any tile in the same row or column as the gap, and the whole run moves at once, which is how experienced solvers play. Tiles sitting in their home square turn green so you can see progress. Every board is shuffled by playing random moves backwards from the solved state, so it is always solvable, and each puzzle you solve is shuffled a little more. Tips & tricks
- Solve the top row first, then the second row, and only then work on the bottom two rows together.
- Sliding a whole row or column in one tap counts as one move — use it.
- For the last two rows, solve them column by column from the left, placing the two tiles of each column together.
