Solitaire
Tap a card to send it where it fits, or drag it: up to a foundation (Ace first, then the same suit in order) or onto a column, one rank lower in the other colour. Tap the deck (or press Space) for the next card; when it runs out, tap it again to turn the pile over. Only a King takes an empty column. Hint shows a useful move, and End game stops the round.
Solitaire — a free online arcade game on TotType
Solitaire is the classic Klondike patience game: seven columns dealt from one deck, four foundations to build from Ace to King by suit, and a deck you turn one card at a time. Tap a card and it jumps to wherever it fits, a foundation first, or drag it there yourself; any face-up run in a column moves together, and only a King can start an empty column. When the deck runs out, tap it to turn the pile over and go round again, as often as you like. Hint points out a useful move, and once every card is face up the rest fly home by themselves. Cards to the foundations, cards turned over and a quick finish all score. It's free in any browser with no download — anyone can try a demo run with no account, and a free parent account with a verified email unlocks unlimited play.

How to play Solitaire
Tap a card to send it where it fits, or drag it: up to a foundation (Ace first, then the same suit in order) or onto a column, one rank lower in the other colour. Tap the deck (or press Space) for the next card; when it runs out, tap it again to turn the pile over. Only a King takes an empty column. Hint shows a useful move, and End game stops the round.
Tips & tricks
- Turn hidden cards over first: a move that uncovers a face-down card is almost always worth more than one that doesn't.
- Empty a column only when a King is ready to fill it: an empty column takes nothing else.
- Aces and twos are always safe to send up; higher cards can wait while you still need them to hold a run together.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play Solitaire?
Build four foundation piles, one per suit, from Ace up to King. On the seven columns, put cards down in alternating colours, each one rank lower (a red 6 on a black 7). Tap a card to move it where it fits, drag it to choose the spot yourself, and tap the deck for the next card.
How is Solitaire scored?
10 points for each card you put on a foundation, 5 for each hidden card you turn over and 5 for each card moved from the deck to a column; taking a card back off a foundation costs 15. Winning adds 500 plus a time bonus that shrinks every second, so a quick win scores most.
What if I get stuck?
Tap Hint to see a useful move or, when there is none, the deck to try next. You can go round the deck as many times as you like. When nothing more can be done, End game finishes the round and saves your score.
Can I play Solitaire online with friends?
Yes. Open Solitaire and choose Play online to join everyone playing it right now: up to 4 players a round, all starting together, and the highest score wins. When nobody else is on, computer players marked as bots hold the empty seats, and a real player always takes a bot's place. To play only with friends, make a private room and share its 4-character code. Online play needs a free parent account with a verified email, and players see only each other's nicknames and scores: there is no chat.
