Flood It is a colour-fill puzzle you can learn in one move: you own the top-left square, and each time you pick a colour, every square touching your region in that colour becomes yours. The aim is to make the entire 12×12 board a single colour within the move limit — 22 to start, one fewer every second board down to 18. Each board you clear is a point; run out of moves and the game ends. Six colours, no timer, and a satisfying jump in your territory on every good pick. Tips & tricks
- Pick the colour that touches your border the most, not the one with the most squares on the board.
- Two moves ahead matters: a colour that grabs little now can open up a big region for the next pick.
- Late in the board, look for the colour that finishes a whole side — the last few moves are the ones that count.

How do you play Flood It?

How many moves do I get?
22 on the first board. Every two boards you clear takes one away, down to a minimum of 18. The score is the number of boards you clear before a board beats you.
Is there a timer?
No — Flood It is about thinking, not speed. Take as long as you like on each pick.
Can I play Flood It online with friends?
Yes. Open Flood It and choose Play online to join everyone playing it right now: up to 4 players a round, all starting together, and the highest score wins. When nobody else is on, computer players marked as bots hold the empty seats, and a real player always takes a bot's place. To play only with friends, make a private room and share its 4-character code. Online play needs a free parent account with a verified email, and players see only each other's nicknames and scores: there is no chat.
