Sniper Strike — a free online arcade game on TotType
Sniper Strike is a cartoon scope game set over a dusk-lit outpost. Simple stick-figure soldiers pop up from behind crates, rooftops and windows for a moment at a time; drag the crosshair onto one and fire to tag it before it ducks back into cover. Some of them raise a rifle and glow red—tag those within about a second, or they land a hit and you lose one of your three lives. You carry six rounds and reload with R or the Reload button (it also reloads by itself when the magazine runs dry). Each wave needs a few more hits than the last and the soldiers stay up for less time; clear the tenth wave to finish the mission. A hit makes the figure sink out of sight with a small burst of specks (red ones on a head hit)—there's no realistic gore, but it is a shooting game. It's free in any browser on phone, tablet, or desktop with no download — anyone can try a demo run with no account, and a free parent account with a verified email unlocks unlimited play.

How to play Sniper Strike
Drag to aim the scope (or use the arrow keys); tap / click / Space fires, or the ◎ FIRE button. Stick-figure soldiers pop up behind cover for a moment — tag them before they duck. A hit on the helmet scores extra. A soldier glowing red is about to fire: tag it first or lose a life. 6-round magazine (R or ⟳ to reload), 3 lives, ten waves.
Tips & tricks
- Tag the soldiers glowing red first—they fire in about a second, and stopping one mid-aim adds a +2 bonus.
- Aim for the helmet: a head hit is worth +5, a body hit +3.
- Reload during a lull (R or ⟳ Reload)—it takes about a second and you can't fire while it happens, so don't let the magazine run dry in a busy wave.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play Sniper Strike?
Drag on the scene (or move the mouse, or use the arrow keys) to move the crosshair, then tap, click, press Space or hit ◎ FIRE to shoot. A drag only aims; a tap fires. Tag the soldiers popping up at the cover spots (rooftops, crates, windows) before they duck away, and watch for the red glow—those soldiers fire back after about a second.
How is Sniper Strike scored?
A body hit is +3 and a head hit +5, and tagging a soldier while it glows red adds +2. Each wave needs five hits plus the wave number, and clearing wave 10 wins the mission.
Is Sniper Strike suitable for kids?
It's a cartoon shooting game, best for older kids: the targets are simple stick-figure soldiers, a hit makes them sink behind cover with a small burst of specks (red on a head hit), and there's no realistic gore. If you'd rather your child skip games about aiming at people, the arcade has plenty of others.
Can I play Sniper Strike online with friends?
Yes. Open Sniper Strike and choose Play online to join everyone playing it right now: up to 4 players a round, all starting together, and the highest score wins. When nobody else is on, computer players marked as bots hold the empty seats, and a real player always takes a bot's place. To play only with friends, make a private room and share its 4-character code. Online play needs a free parent account with a verified email, and players see only each other's nicknames and scores: there is no chat.
