Type a word's first letter to lock onto it, finish the word and it explodes for points — longer words and higher levels pay more. Let a word reach the ship and you lose one of three lives. Two words waiting to be typed never share a first letter, so a keystroke is never ambiguous, and a wrong key only buzzes. - Always shoot the lowest word first — it is the one about to reach your ship.
- Look at the next letter, not your fingers: the word you locked stays highlighted until it pops.
- Longer words are worth more in total (every letter scores), so on a calm screen pick the long one that just appeared.
