Word Ladder builds reading and spelling one rung at a time. Children type each word letter by letter, starting with three-letter words and climbing to four- and five-letter words as they go. It’s focused sight-word and spelling practice that grows steadily harder, so kids are always gently challenged.
Read the word, then type it letter by letter on the keyboard or on-screen keys. Finish a word to climb to the next rung — the words get one letter longer as you rise, from three letters up to five.
Ages 5 to 7 — early readers who know their letters and are starting to read and spell short words.
