How to play Memory Match

Flip a card to see the character, then flip another to try to find its match. Matching pairs stay face-up; mismatches flip back. Clear the whole board to win, and try to do it in fewer moves next time.

Why it works at this age

Concentration is the classic memory game because it works: a child has to hold where a card was while doing something else. Using the site's own hand-drawn characters as the pairs means every card is one they already know, so the memory is the only thing being tested.

Tips for parents

Start with the smallest board; pairs found beats board size.
Say the character's name as each card turns; naming helps recall.
Play it yourself and lose sometimes, honestly.
