Tips & tricks
- Angle it: the robot tracks the puck's position, so a shot that comes off the side wall arrives where it wasn't looking.
- Don't chase the puck into the corners of your own half — hang back in front of your goal and let it come to you.
- Where the mallet meets the puck sets its direction: hit it off-centre to send it toward a side wall and around the robot.

Does the robot get harder?
Yes — every game you win, the robot moves a little faster. The score is how many games in a row you win before it beats you.
Can two people play?
This version is you against the robot. For two players on one screen try Paddle Battle, Drop Four or Tank Duel in the arcade.
Can I play Air Hockey online with friends?
Yes. Open Air Hockey and choose Play online to join everyone playing it right now: up to 4 players a round, all starting together, and the highest score wins. When nobody else is on, computer players marked as bots hold the empty seats, and a real player always takes a bot's place. To play only with friends, make a private room and share its 4-character code. Online play needs a free parent account with a verified email, and players see only each other's nicknames and scores: there is no chat.
