Lunar Lander is the classic physics challenge: your module drifts over rocky ground, gravity pulls it down, and you have a limited tank of fuel to slow it and steer to the green landing pad. Land slowly, level and on the pad to score — the softer the touchdown and the more fuel left, the more points — then a new stretch of moon appears with a smaller pad and rougher terrain. Coming down too hard, tipping over, running dry in the air or landing on the rocks ends the mission. Gentle gravity and a forgiving touchdown mean a first landing comes in the first minute. Tips & tricks
- Watch the two gauges top right: both green means the landing is safe. Fire the engine in short bursts to get them there.
- Kill your sideways speed first — tilt against your drift and thrust — then worry about coming down.
- Fuel left is points and carries over (topped up each landing), so land efficiently rather than hovering.

How do you play Lunar Lander?
Fire the engine with the up arrow, W or Space and tilt with the left and right arrows. Bring the module down on the green pad with both gauges green — slow vertical speed, slow sideways speed — and nearly level.
Why did I crash on the pad?
Either you were coming down too fast, drifting sideways too quickly, or tilted more than a few degrees. The gauges turn red when a speed is unsafe.
Does Lunar Lander end?
Each landing is followed by a harder one — smaller pad, rougher rocks. The mission ends at the first crash, and your total posts to the arcade leaderboard.
